FAQ
Questions, answered straight
Is EffJobs free? What does it cost?
We haven't published pricing yet. We're starting with a small group, and we'll talk to you about pricing directly before you're asked to pay for anything.
Do you apply to jobs for me?
No. We find jobs that fit and draft a cover note for each, but you always make the final click. The Apply link opens the employer's own page, and you apply there yourself.
Can you guarantee me a job or an interview?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Hiring decisions belong to employers. What we do is take the searching off your plate, so your energy goes into the applications you actually want to send.
What happens to my CV and data?
Your CV and details are stored privately. We use them, including with AI tools, only to find jobs that match you and draft cover notes into your tracker, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We don't share your CV with employers or recruiters unless you ask; normally you send it yourself when you apply. You can withdraw your consent or delete your data at any time in Settings.
Which jobs and locations do you cover?
We cover roles across industries and career levels, from freshers and graduates to senior and leadership roles, including career switchers and people returning after a break, in Indian cities and remote. Open to moving, or looking abroad? Tell us when you sign up, including whether you'd need visa sponsorship, and we'll factor it in.
Who's behind EffJobs?
EffJobs is built by Heurystix Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company based in Thane, Maharashtra.
How do I delete my account?
Log in, go to Settings and choose Delete my account. That removes your profile, your CV and your tracker. You can withdraw your consent from the same page.
